What is a real estate film?
In the real estate sector, it is very common to use videos made with 3D design software. Although they are a very useful tool when presenting projects that are still under construction, at Jetcommunication we are one step ahead. Our real estate films are audiovisual pieces in which 3D video is mixed with the interpretation of real actors.
We aim to develop creative concepts that challenge the conventions of traditional video marketing. We strive to design interesting and attractive ways to highlight each of the essential aspects of a building (location, facilities, exterior and interior details, etc.). But that’s not all. We give even more emphasis to realism by incorporating real actors who tell a story.
Real estate films are the most effective tool to make the client feel like they are inside a property that is still under construction. It is a film with such a level of detail and realism that it is hard to get the idea that the scenario is not real.

Why make a real estate film?
Since it is an audiovisual piece, it connects more quickly with the target audience. The growth of video consumption is exponential, continues to rise and continues to grow. In 2019 the consumption of video on the web was 80%, in 2022 it is estimated that the percentage will be almost 85% compared to images.
The main reason to make a real estate film is to make sales. In the real estate sector, as in any other sector, video is the most effective format both to capture the attention of the general public and to facilitate the understanding of a complicated project.
In addition to the performance of the actors, it is the quality of the 3D modelling that makes the film effective. For the film to be effective as a tool to facilitate the sale, it is necessary to create a carefully crafted scenario, with realistic shading, warm sunlight and high-quality interior details.
How is a real estate film made?
Just like in fiction films, real estate films (or 3D architectural films) perfectly integrate a real actor into a fictitious scenario. We are used to seeing the making of of the most successful fiction series and films in which the green fabrics of the chromas become the real protagonists. The production process of the storytelling videos that we develop in our studio is no different from that of a film for the cinema. We have a team of audiovisual production and 3D modelling just like in Hollywood studios. Only the 3D graphic designer does not win Oscars.
The most important thing in a real estate film is that the atmosphere is optimal. For this, we create a 3D video with all the details of the setting, which is the building we want to promote. This part is done like any other real estate promotion video.
At the same time, we start a casting in which, together with our client, we choose the actors who will appear in the film. It is important that the company that is going to use the film as a marketing tool is part of the selection process, as the type of characters must be in line with the type of building to be promoted and with the brand values.
Finally, we integrate the actor’s moving image into the computer-constructed scenario. We add all kinds of VFX effects, such as shadows, lighting, decorative elements, corporate information, etc. using computer graphics for an optimum level of realism.
